Hello Everyone!

This will be a short update, as the past four weeks have been all about writing. My days have been a continuous grind of waking up, exercising, making breakfast, showering, writing, eating lunch, writing some more, making dinner, watching TV and going to bed - always in that order. This routine can be a bit mind-numbing, but it enabled me to make significant progress in the story. The “countdown” timer in the Galantrix Discord now shows the writing is around 80% complete.

The hardest part by far was drafting Chapter 19, the game’s climax. I’ve already rewritten it several times, and I anticipate rewriting it at least five more times. This is where I really have to deliver! It has to be near-perfect… Or as close to it as I can get because if the climax fails, the whole story fails. There will be a few more chapters after the climax, including the endings, but they won’t be nearly as hard to write (which may sound a bit counterintuitive).

Now I need to endure the routine for another four weeks and remain focused. After that, I’ll switch back to art and release the next playtest build, which will be the last public build that doesn’t contain the entire game! As always, I’ll keep you posted.
